How to get involved

Collaboration with schools

The Natural History Museum would like to hear from teachers who want to help us test KeyToNature keys in an educational context. We can offer your school a key to the trees and plants in your area, as well as support in using the key with your students. We can also provide free tickets to paying exhibitions at the museum as a 'thank you' for taking part. If you want to help with testing, please contact Sam Rae, E-Learning Programme developer at the Natural History Museum. Phone: 020 7942 5848 or email.

Associate membership of KeyToNature

The KeyToNature consortium is looking for active collaborations with public and private organisations involved in environmental education, to increase the amount and variety of educational resources available to teachers and students.

Benefits of being an Associate Member of KeyToNature include:

  • The opportunity to access learning resources developed for European schools in the framework of the project.
  • Free advice and support, including attendance at national and international workshops.
  • The access to expertise on the pedagogical use of digital content for learning.

There are no financial obligations or benefits for Associate Members. However, they can apply to project partners for reimbursement for project-related travel and subsistence costs. These reimbursements must be agreed upon among the parties before any travel and project-related activities take place.
